Get free stuff by searching via Swagbucks!

First things first, to get started go and register on the site through this link:

Search & Win

Once you have registered, you will want to create your "Swag" name right away. You can use this to promote the site and bring your friends on board with you. When your friends register through your registration link, you will get a swagbuck everytime they earn one. This only applies when they earn the Swagbuck via searching through the Swagbucks engine.

Once you have finished registering, logout and log back in. Upon logging back in, the site should ask you to register or choose a "Swag" name. If you put the word Swag in your name, good luck finding one that isn't taken. You can't change your name once you have locked one in, so be sure that what you get is what you will want permanently. The name will show up in your reference link like my one above, right after the word "refer" in the link. You should try to avoid putting your full name as your referral link. Try to come up with something that is unique and looks like it could have been chosen by the site directly. If you type in the name and it says that name is taken, you will have to type a different one over and over until you get it. Every time you type a new name, click on the window to see if the new name is taken as well. Once you get one that is available, you will click on the window and the Save and Continue button will light up. Then you will have to sign out and sign back in one last time for the Referral Link to show up properly under the "Promote Banners" tab.

Once you have gone through all of the trouble to get to this point, you will have to decide the methods with which to promote your Swagbucks link. You may get forty or fifty Swagbucks a day just by randomly searching through their engine yourself. If you are searching on a Friday when they increase the amount of Swagbucks that they give out, you may even earn more. Don't bother just sitting there typing in a million random words in the search engine hoping to increase your odds. I've gotten more Swagbucks during times that i'm randomly searching words with more time in between than when i've sat there and punched words in repeatedly. If you use Facebook and other social networking sites, you will want to post your Referral Link on those every now and then and even add banners to different sites when you can. You can create a blog like this to help other people learn and get the word out that way if you'd like. Another idea is to sign up under a second email address with a different "Swag Name". Then when do your searching under the newly created login name, every time you earn a Swagbuck you will earn one for your original account. Now you are doubling up. This is never a bad deal! :) The more people you get set up as referrals that actually use the site to search for different things, the more Swagbucks you will earn in a shorter amount of time. One last idea is to create a YouTube video showing your Swagbucks account referral link and your successes in earning Swagbucks. This way as you build more hits and fan base on your YouTube channel, you build your Swagbucks. Be sure to show some of the goods you accumulate from Swagbucks in your video to show your audience that Swagbucks is a legitimate business. On a final note, it has come to my attention that the best bang for your buck is to buy the Amazon gift cards with your Swagbucks card, then turn around and buy whatever else you could have purchased directly from Swagbucks through Amazon. Your dollars will go way further that way. The higher value, more desireable items on the Swagbucks Store require more Swagbucks per dollar than the Amazon gift cards. You can do what you like, but that is my two cents. You could save up the Amazon gift cards and buy all of your birthday or Christmas presents next year without spending a dime out of pocket. Sound too good to be true? You won't know until you try! Best of luck, my friends.
